Nov. 8, 2022 (Los Angeles, CA) — During a critical midterm election year that has already seen historic voter turnout, Pizza to the Polls once again met voter needs, delivering more than 75,000 free pizzas and snacks to voters waiting in long lines at polling sites and at nonpartisan events across the country. The nonprofit organization, whose mission is to feed people participating in civic engagement, reported today that its 2022 program successfully operated in 49 states and the District of Columbia, and fed more than 75,000 people voting on Election Day, voting early, and serving more than 385 nonpartisan GOTV events and polling sites throughout the cycle.
Notably, Pizza to the Polls delivered pizzas to more than 185 polling locations across the country and deployed its signature food trucks in Philadelphia and Milwaukee for Election Day and early voting respectively.
